One Response to "Our Perfect Fan"

Dear Roni, Kyle, Dana & Chad,
Thank you for sharing your love of your mom with all of us! I was awestruck at the love and support of everyone who was able to attend your mom's service and I know there were many who would have also been there if they could have. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of you.
It wasn't until Cyndi died that I recognized what a gift it was to grieve her loss ~ for only then did I understand that the love we shared was equal to the loss I felt to not be able to talk to her or hug her. So I encourage you to open to your grief and sadness...for it is the love you shared, and it is no less (but actually greater) than when you could exchange a smile or hug.
I know your mom is very proud of each of you!
With much love,
(cousin) Malisa
To Kyle, Dana and Chad....your mom's service was simply THE MOST BEAUTIFUL service I've ever attended. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to each of you. I lost my mom when I was 28. It's been 20 years now, and I still miss her, she was also my perfect fan and my best friend and she left my world way too early. I will keep each of you in my prayers, asking God to give you comfort in the days ahead.
Love, Laurie Martinez Pate
