family

Another night is ending as my brother aunt and I buckle down to stay the night with my mom. There are no new updates just things that need to be said. Although it may seem we did not get a miracle in a cure, I believe we've all expiernced one in my mother.
Today she was moved to a private room upstairs which allowed more people so we stayed up here mostly. But the phenomenon happening in the halls below was truly breathtaking. As we came of the elevator the halls were lined left right and in front of us. It was as though there was a tunnel of undying love. Something you see in a movie. It warms my heart to know how loved she is and what a true impact she has made. So many people showed up who were once little children who adored their daycare lady. ..now with broken hearts. The show of support has comforted my family and I. My grandmother, brothers, sister, aunts, uncles and cousins thank you all for every last drop of thoughtfulness and kindness. But there is truly no one on Earth that would love this more than Laura Jo.

I pray tonight that this wonderful family get some rest. Lord please give them all peace in their minds. Help the hurt in their chest to go away enough that they can rest. Wrap your loving arms around them with great comfort, thank you Lord, Amen

My heart still bleeds for your family but I am so glad to see you are able to see the miracles and blessings surrounding her even at this time. Thank you, Dana, for sharing these updates - keeping Laura's family and extended family of friends and loved ones informed of what is happening, and sending thanks to all of her supporters from all of us! What a community she's built around her. :)

I have been touched to witness the love surrounding her and the strength you, Kyle and Chad have given her with your presence and love for her and one another.

I went by Laura's room this morning on my way in to work and was comforted to see you and Chad sleeping near her in the room. You were all resting peacefully ~ three beautiful angels. I pray that Laura is able to let go and make this next journey with peace, ease and joy as she joins our other family members who have passed.

~ Laura, you have truly been an inspiration to so many as you've touched our lifes. Thank you ~ and God speed!

    Love,
    Malisa

You will never forget the love, you will find comfort in the memory of those who are there with you, who sit all night to "be there" for her. My mother has been gone for 7 years and it still warms my heart to recall the love shown to her and us and the huge group there to remember her.
I know it may not seem like it but she is blessed, she's blessed to have you and your brothers and all the loving family surrounding her. God will take you through this He will be there to give you strength you never knew you had.
    I love you
    Dana B.
